TripleOKLaw LLP Advocates formed 19 years ago, is a Kenyan law firm that has grown from two focus practice areas- Litigation and Corporate and Commercial Law, to seven core practices of law that cater to clients’ different needs in various industries. With partnerships across borders through the Meritas Law Firms network, boutique firms and returning clients have grown from a track record of excellence, the firm has been able to serve across borders thus earning the listing as a top African law firm.

The firm has achieved this growth through the commitment to creating a practice of local experts with international experience and training to be able to serve clients in various jurisdictions. On a firmly progressive path of expansion, a number of strategic investments and programmes ensure the firm continuously grows in its impact. For example, the advanced digital transformation program has held the firm through the pandemic ensuring that there was no avoidable disruption in service over the last 18 months. Consequently, there has been an increase in efficiency with seamless client communication and all staff are allowed to work in their most productive timings.

Additionally, professional capacity is built through a comprehensive pupillage program that ensures annual recruitment of the best talent that have a general understanding of the legal practice and are informed about their specialisations. The continued personal development programs that include internal professional training and support for academic advancements ensure that every member of staff is at the top of their game so as to consistently deliver client-focused solutions.

Earlier in the year, the firm made it to the finalist race in four categories at the annual Africa Legal Awards for Dispute Resolution Team of the Year, Employment and Labour Team of the Year, Telecommunications Media and Technology Team of the Year and Partner of the Year. This is in addition to consistently ranking in the Legal500 EMEA, Chambers and Partners Global and Fintech Rankings and recognition among peers in the Nairobi Legal Awards 2019 and 2020.

TripleaOKLaw LLP Advocates commits to maintaining the mantra of going over and above in service delivery and in contribution to the legal practice.
