Joyanne is an upcoming associate in the firm who has shown remarkable strength and diversity in both dispute resolution and transaction advisory within the Telecommunication, Media and Technology space.

She oscillates between the dispute resolution and TMT departments to offer collaborative, holistic and practical bespoke solutions to our clients. She specializes in advisory in commercial contracts, intellectual property, fintech and mobile payments, data protection and privacy and cyber security and is steadily developing outstanding capabilities in data protection and cyber security.

She further offers services to clients in the banking and finance sector in real estate and securitization matters. She works alongside Catherine and Janet in developing the business strategy and brand of the department and is highly involved in writing articles on topical issues around the department’s practice areas.  She is a trained and certified Data Protection Officer. Joyanne continuously publishes in the firm’s Above Standard Newsletter as well as in other regional and international sites such as the CIO and Afriwise.
